DESCRIPTION:Join us for the announcement of the 2025 slate of Connecticut recipients of the Long Island Sound Community Impact Fund grant on Tuesday\, July 15\, 2025\, at 10:30 a.m. at the Connecticut River Museum (67 Main Street\, Essex\, CT 06426) to highlight ongoing efforts to protect and restore Long Island Sound. \nSpeakers will include representatives from the Long Island Sound Partnership\, Restore America’s Estuaries (RAE)\, EPA Region 1 and EPA Region 2\, the Executive Director of Connecticut River Museum\, and other local partners and subawardees. \nThe program will run approximately 1.5 to 2 hours\, with an optional site tour of the restoration project area to follow. \nVENUE NOTE: Google Maps may direct you to the incorrect location if you enter 67 Main St\, Essex\, CT 06426.
